Textual Misconduct:
This is crazy! 1 in 5 teenagers that are 13 and 14 years old! All i can say is the chicken in the United States is definitly influencing teenage hormones!!
These types of pictures are similar yet very different from the ones we discussed in class( soldier, Omayra Sanchez). The photographer in this case is the teenager her/himself. They are exploiting their own bodies through the cellphone and internet network. These pictues can serve for two different purposes. One: Send a message to the world, the issue that is going on amongst teenagers and serve as a catalyst for change ( alike OMayra) or Two: serve as pornography for sex predators ( what the teenagers do not realize they are doing.)
Photograhers are responsible for their own pictures, and this does not change amongs teenagers. They must understand the consequences and stop acting so naive and giving into peer pressure . Showing their bodies to their boyfriends or girlfriends at that age is not everything that is needed for a relationship to work and they have to be firm with that and respect themselves.

… yall are not gonna like my answer… but!… I see nothing wrong w sexting… i think its up to a teenager what they send to others… however i do understand that some of them are too young to understand what could happen if these pictures were found by someone (like a sex predator) or even their parents! I’d freak out if my mom found me doing something like sexting!
I do feel that for older teenagers (maybe 16 and up) its not so terrible… i mean by now… they should know their bodies pretty well and they should be able to decide whether they wanna take these kind of pictures and have the whole world c them naked… and i mean the WHOLE WORLD cus nothing is private anymore! no matter how hard we try!
We have to face it… kids are growing up too fast nowadays… I hear stories from 12-13 yr old kids that lose their virginity (willingly) and I think back to six grade n remember how i cared bout so many other things than boys and did not even THINK about sex as something possible (meaning it was for grown ups) … its scary to see kids lose their virginity at ages in which they dont really understand their body, how to protect themselves, and what it means to be in a deep, meaningful relationship in which sex is not a MUST but a plus since the relationship is based on the ppl and what they truly feel bout the other person…
